How To Manage Payment Settings

You can manage your credit cards and PayPal account through the Payment Settings in your Account Manager.

This guide walks you through each step to make sure your transactions run smoothly.

Access Payment Settings

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click your account name (top-right).
  3. Select Payment Settings from the dropdown.

    From here, you can add, update, or remove your payment methods.

Add a Credit Card or PayPal

Credit Card

  1. Choose the credit card option and enter the required card details.

    NOTE.

    • You can check Make this my Primary Card to set it as the default for renewals and purchases. You can always change it later on.

    • You can store multiple credit cards, but only one can be set as the primary card at a time.
    • Vodien accepts Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express cards.

  2. Click Add Card and a confirmation message will show up once the card is saved successfully.

 

PayPal

Click the PayPal logo, then select Add PayPal. You’ll be redirected to PayPal’s login page. Sign in to your account, then click Agree & Pay to set PayPal as your payment method.

Set a Primary Credit Card

To change your default card, click Make Primary on the credit card that you want to use. Click CHANGE PRIMARY CARD to confirm.

NOTE. Member credit cannot be used for auto-renewals. It is available only for invoices and new purchases.

 

Update Existing Card or PayPal

All your saved cards and PayPal accounts appear under Payment Settings. To update them, just click Update Card or Update Paypal to make your changes.

Assign Domains and Products to a Payment Method

You can link and check the different payment methods connected to specific domains or products for auto-renewals.

  1. Click Domains on the payment method that will be charged for the domain name renewal.

    Or click Products to assign products to the payment method.

  2. Assign the domains or products by checking the box on the left and then adjust the Renewal Period if necessary.

    TIP. You can switch between the Domains and Products tabs, or reassign items using the Assigned to dropdown.

  3. Click Update to save your changes, and then click X mark on the upper right side of the window to close the page.

 

Enable or Disable Auto-Renewal

Scroll down to the Auto-Renewal for future purchases section. Toggle the switch to enable and disable auto-renewal.

NOTE. Vodien sends out an email notification before each renewal, giving you time to cancel if needed.

 

Remove Card or PayPal Account

  1. Click Delete next to the card or PayPal account you want to remove.

    NOTE. If the payment method is tied to a domain or product, you’ll need to assign a replacement before deleting it.


     
  2. Click CONFIRM DELETE. A confirmation message will appear once the card is successfully removed.

FAQS

No. If your selected payment method fails, we cannot automatically switch to another card. You’ll receive a payment failure email with steps to complete the renewal manually.

Yes. However, doing so will disable all auto-renewals linked to it.

  • If you have two cards on file: the second card will automatically become the primary.
  • If you have more than two cards: you must manually select another card as primary before deleting the current one.
